ARTS-A-GLOW LANTERN FESTIVAL

A magical evening in the forest! We will have lantern art and performers around every corner, face painting, tea leaf reading, and tea and treats to be sampled. Make your own lantern and join the procession at dusk (8ish)! And a special surprise performance after the procession... don't miss it!

BRAT TROT

The Burien Brat Trot has quickly become one of South King County's most fun and festive fall events! Beginning at 10:30 am on Sunday, October 7th the band will strike up and begins to play in Olde Burien. All day, event goers can enjoy brats, the beer garden, a German oompah band, booths and of course -- the Chicken Dance! Many of Olde Burien's quaint restaurants and shops will be open for business with drink and event specials.

Oktoberfest 2011 raised over $45,000 for students in our district—a record amount for this event!

These funds will be used to directly support classroom innovation through teacher grants, sports participation fees, arts programs, college readiness, scholarships and other programs that directly help our students.

Oktoberfest brings us all together to celebrate our schools and to remind us of the good work we can do as a school community. Parents, administrators, teachers, staff and community members are all represented—truly inspiring!

MOSHIER HOLIDAY POTTERY SALE

Twice a year the potters at the Moshier Art Center gather to sell their handmade wares. Come to this amazing sale to find hundreds of items such as mugs, bowls, serving dishes, casseroles, garden art, soap dishes, jewelry, holiday items, and more! Come early for best selection. WINTERFEST
Saturday, December 7th - 10am to 4pm - SW 152nd Street in Downtown Burien

Celebrate the Holiday Season by shopping locally at this annual community event that includes free horse and carriage rides, hay rides, hot treats and in-store specials. Hours: 10 am to 4 pm. FREE SANTA PHOTO'S at Prudential Northwest Realty 930 SW 152nd in Olde Burien - Attendance 750 people.
