Burien Parks & Recreation ARTS-A-GLOW turned out yet another illuminating event. Featuring live music that rocked Dottie Harper Park,
lots of illuminated works of art, a
lantern procession led by the VamoLá Drum & Dance Ensemble. It was enlightening in more ways than ever.

anticipated class on the ever elusive topic... Facebook. Changes, uses and best practices and more will be covered by our friends and Social Media
Guru's SocialBee's. Our After Hours Networking event this moth will be at the HomeTask headquarters. Stop by and visit with neighbors and see what a
beautiful job their team has done on the former Jorstad Jewelers location.

We have a wonderful community in which we all can live and be a part of exciting old and new traditions alike. On March 1 we held our
(first independent) Awards Dinner & Silent Auction where we raised money not only to support our organization but that of our community
partner and Non-Profit Leadership award recipient Highline Schools Foundation. We look forward to continuing to growing and becoming an
ever present part of the what makes this community so great.

There is so much going on here in Burien. The Farmers Market on Thursdays is a huge hit as hundreds of patrons stop by for farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, crafts, food and live music.
